Have you ever had an embroidery design, that is just so dense it puckers the fabric on you, no matter how much stabilizer you use and how tight you tighten the hoop screw?
This is a common problem, but one that has an easy fix.
We have found that it is best to hoop your stabilizer and then lay the fabric over the top of the hoop (this is a personal preference, you can still hoop the fabric as well) and then use the basting stitch to help stop the fabric moving on you.
For owners of the Janome Memory Craft 15000, 12000, 9900 and 11000 Ver 2.0 and higher, you have a built in basting stitch, that you can use.
